Unlike many chrome shops that only do bumpers, Astro has built a reputation for restoring, repairing and replating all types of hardware, from individual pieces to entire lamps. Many home retorations, in order to preserve the original hardware style, rechrome EVERY bolt, hinge and doorknob in the entire house. Some VERY expensive and rare awards and trophies (including a 40-year old Miss America trophy), as well as priceless lamps and clocks with intricate gold plating, have come through our shop.
